You heard right.
As of early this morning, my dog had her puppies. Needless to say I was surprised. I wasn't expecting her to be so far along. I was going to take her to the vet today, but that wasn't necessary. Though, I still have to take them to the vet to make sure they're all healthy, including mommy. She had four. This is the first time I seen anything like this, it was just amazing! I was overwhelmed with joy...then disgust when she started chewing off the umbilical cords for them. D: I don't have the stomach for that. I'm glad she didn't have any problems with the birthing process. Seemed it came pretty natural. Now she's on a pillow in the cage curled up with them.

I would have asked on a few websites how to go about taking care of mommy and the pups. I know some basic and common sense stuff, but....really. Reading some replies from other people....why do they have to come off like complete asses? You asked them how to go about it and they point their interweb finger at you saying it's the worse kind of back yard breeding and you're the cause why mix breeds die and you're an idiot. I mean...wow. Make it sound like you intentionally wanted your dog to be pregnant (in my case I did not. It happened, but getting daddy neutered when I can.)
But annnnnyway, this day has been pretty nice!
